Importance Of Wireless Video Surveillance

Wireless Video Surveillance has become an important and integral part of our security system. To prevent unwanted and sudden terrorist attacks, malls, railway stations, airports and other public and government places are always under surveillance. These cables can easily get damaged by bad weather, accidents and can even get sabotaged. Moreover it gets very difficult and costly to arrange for cables and wires for long distance surveillances. Wired video or audio surveillance requires the presence of monitoring stations nearby the areas of surveillance. This will become a problem in case the focus of surveillance is always on the move. This problem is solved by wireless video surveillance. Wireless surveillance not only makes surveillance easy but also increases the domain of surveillance.

So it is best to use an IP based surveillance for a Wireless Security system only when the use of CCTV cameras is not possible or may hinder public security.
